So I finally gave in and got a LiveJournal account. What next, a Myspace page? Well, I don't know how much I'll be posting here since I have my weblog. I see a lot of site owners eventually give up their on-site journals and simply use their LiveJournals. Which is a little disturbing, if you think about it. Why are LJs so popular anyway? They seem like some kind of disease which people can't seem to shake off, like World of Warcraft or something!

Current standing on LiveJournal: Hmm... nifty, but I don't see what all the craze is about - yet.
My nationality is something which usually takes a long explanation. I don't really feel any affiliation for the United Kingdom because I only just moved here some three months ago. I lived in Singapore for most of my life. I have an American accent, not an English one - which, to Americans, means it won't sound too weird, I think.
You can also see I've been busy making a quick layout and stylesheet for this thing. I hope you like it! It really was a rushed job. I've never used Kadaj (or very much Advent Children artwork, for that matter) in my layouts and I figured he'd make for an interesting start. Plus, he really fits with the lyrics I put up there from Feel Good, Inc. by the Gorillaz. :D Oh, and I chose Sephiroth for my userpic because I have a Sephiroth tribute planned on my domain.
Hmm, and why ![[info]](http://stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) astralnavi? It's semi-inspired from one of my favourite anime series, Last Exile. :) The 'sidekicks' of the courier pilots are navigators, or navis. There's a big cosmic science-fiction backstory which is only revealed later in the series. I tried a bunch of names out, but figured astralnavi was the best choice. Oh, and I'm getting tired of using 'Bravepower' and 'Reinhart' everywhere - especially since Reinhart is usually taken anyway.
Gah. I'm never going to pay for this El Jaye, but I really, really dislike ads. :/ Ah well.
Anyway, I followed some advice from some wonderful webmisses and got this LJ anyway. I suppose I might totter off and go friend request 19836218 domain-owners' LJs. XD Toodles!
Edit: ...And the ads are gone! By downgrading my account, no less.
